We are excited to share that we’re now approved installers for GivEnergy, a leading UK company specialising in battery storage systems.  This partnership allows us to offer some of the most reliable and innovative energy solutions available, helping our clients in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas make the most of renewable energy technologies.

Driving down to GivEnergy whilst testing EV charging

As an experiment, our Managing Director, Mark, embarked on a road trip in his electric car from Edinburgh to the GivEnergy factory in Stoke.  The journey there (and back) was an opportunity to put the British EV charging infrastructure to the test and explore the practicality of long-distance travel in an electric vehicle.

The trip let us assess the current state of EV charging, from the availability and reliability of chargers to the ease of planning a route that accommodates charging stops.  Mark tried a mix of charging speeds and setups, highlighting both the progress being made and the challenges that still exist in supporting widespread EV adoption.

Reaching GivEnergy’s manufacturing facility was a fitting conclusion to the journey.  Their 3 phase on-site charger was seamless and efficient, demonstrating their commitment to supporting renewable technologies in every aspect of energy use.

The road trip provided a practical way to connect our expertise in renewable energy with real-world EV use, reinforcing how technologies like GivEnergy’s battery systems can help bridge the gap between renewable energy generation, storage, and consumption.

This real-life experience has strengthened our resolve to install great systems like GivEnergy’s and also to help our clients understand and embrace the practical benefits of renewable energy in everyday life.

Whether it’s storing solar power for later use or enabling the convenience of EV charging at home, these solutions are shaping the future of energy use for homes and businesses alike.

The benefits of choosing an approved installer

Becoming an approved installer means we’ve been fully trained to install the full range of GivEnergy battery storage systems.  It also gives us direct support from the GivEnergy team, so if any issues arise, we can sort them quickly for our clients.

For anyone looking to lower energy bills, reduce their carbon footprint, or simply make their home or business more energy-efficient, these systems are a game-changer.  As Edinburgh-based electricians, we see every day how rising energy costs and climate concerns are pushing people to look for better solutions.

GivEnergy’s battery systems are a practical way to store and use renewable energy more effectively, and we’re proud to bring this technology to homeowners and businesses in Scotland.

This isn’t just about selling a product – it’s about helping people prepare for a future where renewable energy plays a bigger role in daily life.  Whether you’re already using solar panels, thinking about installing them, or looking into EV charging points, GivEnergy’s systems can help make it all work better.  And as approved installers, we’re here to make sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.

What makes GivEnergy different?

GivEnergy stands out for their practical, user-friendly systems that integrate easily with solar panels installations, EV chargers, and other renewable technologies.  Their batteries allow homeowners and businesses to store surplus energy for later use, cutting down on reliance on the grid and saving money.  They also provide a smart app for monitoring energy usage and performance in real-time, which makes managing energy much simpler.

What impressed me most during my visit was how committed GivEnergy are to quality; every product is rigorously tested to ensure reliability and efficiency.
